As we move forward in our faith journey at First Presbyterian Church, Big Flats, I wanted to fill you in on our schedule for the next few weeks. We are very grateful to Rev. Jane Winters for her careful and caring attention to our pulpit and pastoral needs and are very pleased that she will be with us for the next two Sundays. As the Chair of the Presbytery’s Committee On Ministry (COM) she will consult with us and our COM representative, Thomas Bailey, in our meetings and decision-making process.
In May, we will welcome Rev. Patricia Schick, a Presbyterian minister who will lead our worship services through the month and perhaps beyond.
Here is our worship schedule as of this date:

On Pentecost, June 8, there will be a presbytery-sponsored gathering at the Bicentennial Park in Geneva at 2:30 to “Stand Up for What Jesus Taught; March with Jesus” to model his call to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, welcome the stranger, clothe the naked, care for the sick, and visit the prisoner.
